Glock 20 Polymer 80 - How many people have heard of a custom gun company called Polymer80 (P80)? I actually heard about Polymer80 last year when I came into the office and the guys were putting a P940SS slide on a Glock 43 Gen 3.
After learning more about their company, I created a (list of considerations) for our readers before purchasing anything from the P80.

I recommend using it as a personal buyers guide to learn how they can improve your guns.

It is important to always check where you are purchasing gun parts from, especially when it comes to Glock parts. Glock, as everyone knows, is the most popular handgun brand in the world, and has more replacement parts and alternatives than any other handgun brand.
It's great to always have access to parts to customize your gun in any way imaginable, but there are many parts that aren't built specifically to Glock standards. This creates a lot of problems, but to begin with, if you install parts that are not intended for the gun, it can cause serious injury or death. It probably just won't fire, but if everything is correct except for the slide or trigger assembly, you can have a blast in your hand when you pull the trigger.
OEM Glock means that Glock has certified the listed parts to the exact specifications that Glock uses for each pistol. Polymer80 is an OEM Glock company that manufactures Glock parts with extreme precision and safety in mind.
Polymer80 makes a name for itself by providing 80% custom gun kits compatible with Glock and Sig Sauer pistols. For example, if you want a deeper front and rear slide on your Glock 17 or 19, you can swap out the stock slide for a P80 PF940SC slide assembly. Whether you're looking to replace the grip, slide, barrel or spring, the P80 has the right parts for your Glock or Sig.

Over the past year, we've seen a lot of interest in the P80 in the gun community, and most people I know rave about their new custom pistols. Due to their growing success, P80 now sells fully custom pistols with PF-series pistols, pistol conversion kits, and AR-15 parts.
Polymer80 sets itself apart from its competitors by focusing on building custom pistols with a variety of features to suit almost any style of shooter. Just like when I first learned how to load ammo, building a gun from scratch is a lot easier than it looks.
Building a gun with Polymer80 parts offers a completely different feel than most guns with its unique features such as the Stainless Steel Rail Block System (LBRS) and the Stainless Steel Modular Rail System (RRMS).
I think it's best to start where Polymer80 started, which is the Frame P80 kits. There are 4 different sized pistol frames that the P80 offers, including subcompact, compact, single stack, full frame and large.

For this, I want to focus on compatibility with the Glock 19, 23, G17, 34, 17L, G22 (40S&W), 35, 24, and G31 (.357Sig).
With so many acronyms we see every day, it's impossible to know each one without looking it up. All P80 pistol names are based on the 5 different sizes available. Depending on the size of gun you want, there are different color options such as FDE, Cobalt, Gray, Black Nitride, Black and my favorite Blue Titanium.
The PF940SC is a subcompact frame compatible with the subcompact Glock 26 Gen 3. Like many people I know who own a Glock 26, it's great to see the right parts that go with the Baby Glock to make it more comfortable and practical.
All P80 frames are designed with a wide barrel, double undercut trigger guard, and thumb rest to reduce recoil, prevent slide bite, and provide more clearance on the trigger guard for larger fingers and cold-weather gloved shooters.
How To Legally Build A Glock Compatible Pistol Using A Polymer80 Frame In Michigan
If you want to build your own pistol instead of replacing a Glock 26 frame, it's easy to do with the PF940SC Sub-Compact Slide Assembly. The slide kit includes a tube and spring system that is already assembled before it is shipped to you. You can't buy the PF940SC barrel separately, but if you're looking to replace your Glock 26 Gen 3 pistol with a new slide and barrel, this is it.
One of the reasons for Glock's popularity is the limited number of moving parts in their pistols. It can be difficult to try to replicate a Glock, but the P80 does a great job of providing the same ergonomics and performance as a Glock with its custom slide and trigger.
Building your own gun no longer requires you to be a gunsmith with some great companies like P80 creating kits that are easy to understand for people without much gun experience. The best part about this trigger assembly kit is that it works with full size, compact (single) and sub-compact 9mm models.
The SF940SC is designed for the Glock 26 and the P80 SF940C is compatible with Glock 19/23/43 parts. The PF series frames share the same features (extended dovetail, double cut trigger guard and thumb rest).
The Ghost Glock: Polymer80 Gen 2
There are 2 types of compact pistol frames; SF940C and P80 PFC9. The PFC9 is a very popular model as it is supposed to be compatible with the Glock 19 and Glock 23 Gen 3. The SF940C is compatible with the Glock 43.
The PF940C slide assembly is made specifically for the Glock 19/23 Gen 3 pistol frame, magazine and barrel. For example, if you really want a threaded barrel for a compensator or suppressor, you can use the P80 PF940C Slide Assembly and still retain the original grip and trigger.
It is compatible with both Glock 19, 23 Gen 3 pistol magazines, frames and trigger assemblies. It's no secret that if you have a Gen 3 Glock 19, you're missing out on the Marksman barrel, fingerless grip, and better metal plating.
Replacing the slide on an older Glock allows you to keep the grip if you like finger grooves, but it's a cheaper way to get a better Glock barrel with more features than buying a Gen 5 Glock. Although the barrel is made of black nitrided stainless steel, it has polymer components inside the slide to reduce weight, which has a Gen 3 full steel slide.
How To Check A Polymer80 Or Glock's Firing Pin Strike
The arrows are much more aggressive on the front and rear than the standard Glock slide, and it doesn't matter what generation it is. The P80 has done a great job of creating a slide that can be retracted with either hand with little effort. Some people really like the optics, but the night sights on the P80 slide are great with a bright yellow dot in the center of your target.
Finally, adding a red-hot magwell to the P940C can have a huge impact on your loading speed and accuracy. Fired magwells aren't that expensive, you just have to make sure you have the right specs.
The PF940V2 frame is compatible with most Glock pistols from any other P80 model. The best thing about the full frame PF940V2 is its compatibility with 9mm, .40 S&W and .357 Sig pistols. If, like most people I know, you own multiple caliber Glock pistols, this is a great way to order more guns while spending a fraction of the money.
I will be testing the frame on my Glock 17 and Glock 22 to see how the frame does with 9mm and .40 S&W recoil and it will hold up however I like.

There are many ways to customize your Glock 17 and I know many people who love the Gen 3 barrel but would rather have a newer slide with more aggressive parts. The package below is listed on Brownells and features an alternate frame with aggressive text and a full size slide with excellent night sights.
With most trigger mount kits, you choose whether you want to mount a straight or curved trigger to the frame. The smooth trigger is the one installed when shipped and for good reason.
Many shooters have previously used platform triggers on their ARs and pistols, but I think this P80 assembly is an absolute steal for $51.99. You can adjust the trigger weight from 5 to 14 pounds to choose what works best for you.
The popular Polymer80 PFC9TM and PFS9TM pistols now come with an optical cut that matches the RMR footprint. Best of all, this upgrade is available at the same MSRP as the non-optical shotguns previously offered - $549. "
Rock Slide G20 Gen 3 Upper
There's no doubt that for most shooters, a red sight allows for faster target acquisition, greater accuracy, better speed, and hitting the target with both eyes open - all good things.
